Baked potatoes in aluminum foil from the oven – baked potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 kg potatoes
- 3 bay leaves
- 3-5 black peppercorns
- 3-5 allspice peas
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp herbs de Provence

Instructions
- Peel and wash the potatoes.
- Cut the large potatoes into 2-4 pieces, leaving the small ones whole.
- Place the potatoes in a saucepan.
- Add the bay leaves, peppercorns, allspice and salt, cover with water.
- Bring to the boil and cook the potatoes over a low heat for about 15-20 minutes, but not too soft.
- Drain the potatoes and drain well.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place 2 large ones on a baking tray Lay sheets of aluminum foil on top of each other so that the edges hang out slightly.
- Grate frozen butter in the center of the baking sheet.
- Spread the potatoes evenly on top.
- Sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper and herbs de Provence.
- The Wrap the potatoes tightly in aluminum foil and place the tray in the oven.
- Bake at 200°C for approx. 20 minutes.
- Unwrap the baked potatoes from the aluminum foil and bake for another 15 minutes until crispy.
- The baked potatoes with tzatziki, herbal quark or garlic sow Serve while still hot.
