Baked bacon and bacon rolls with pineapple and soy sauce

Pineapple chunks wrapped in crispy bacon – this original snack definitely won’t go unnoticed. The soy sauce and brown sugar give the rolls an even more intense taste.

Ingredients

  • 12 strips of bacon bacon
  • 180 g pineapple
  • ¹⁄₄ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut each bacon strip in half.
  2. Cut the pineapple into approx. 24 equal pieces.
  3. Roll up each piece of pineapple in bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Line the baking tray with baking paper.
  5. Open the prepared rolls place on the baking sheet.
  6. Mix the sugar and soy sauce together.
  7. Spread all the bacon rolls with the soy-sugar mixture.
  8. Bake the bacon rolls in an oven preheated to 200° C for approx. 25 minutes.
  9. The bacon rolls can be served hot or cold.
