Ingredients

Shortcrust pastry

  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 p vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

Topping

  • 300 g quinces, or apples
  • 1 p vanilla sugar
  • 5 tsp water
  • 4 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Prepare the topping

  1. Wash the apples or quince and cut into small wedges.
  2. Dissolve the sugar in a saucepan with water.
  3. Add the quince wedges or apples.
  4. Let everything simmer for about 12 minutes.

Prepare the dough $ $

  • Prepare a shortcrust pastry from the sugar, butter, flour, egg, baking powder, vanilla sugar and milk.
  • Line the bottom and sides of a springform pan or tart pan with the dough.
  • Distribute the apples on the dough.
  • Quince tart Bake on the middle shelf at 200°C for about 25-30 minutes.
