Ingredients

  • 1 kg rhubarb
  • 3 oranges, untreated
  • 1.5 kg sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the rhubarb under running water.
  2. Peel off the rhubarb skin.
  3. Cut the rhubarb stalks into pieces 0.5 – 1.0 cm long.
  4. Put the rhubarb pieces in a saucepan and leave to stand with the sugar for 3 hours.
  5. The oranges wash well.
  6. Grab the peel on a grater and add to the rhubarb.
  7. Add the orange peel to the rhubarb and stir well.
  8. Heat the mixture in a saucepan.
  9. Separate the flesh of the oranges from the white partitions and cut into small ones Cut into pieces.
  10. Add the oranges to the rhubarb in the saucepan and cook for about 15 minutes.
  11. Pour the hot rhubarb jam into sterilized jars and tighten the lids.
