Aromatic pear jam with apples and cinnamon
Ingredients
- 1 kg apples
- 1 kg pears
- 1¹⁄₂ kg sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Utensils

- pot
- mixing spoon
- jam jars
Instructions
- Peel and core the apples and pears and cut into small pieces.
- Put the fruit in a saucepan.
- Add the sugar, stir gently and leave covered for 1-2 hours.
- Stir thoroughly and bring the mixture to a boil .
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the jam from the heat and leave for 2-3 hours.
- Add the cinnamon.
- Return to the boil, simmer for 5 minutes and allow to cool slightly.
- Boil briefly again and immediately pour the pear jam into clean jam jars.
- Close the jars and put the pear jam in a cool, dark place after it has cooled.
