Aromatic pasta with Brussels sprouts

The recipe for Pasta with Brussels Sprouts and Bacon is based on the crunchy, chopped Brussels sprouts that are pan-fried and combined with salty, crispy bacon and fine Parmesan. Add a large dash of white wine and some of the pasta water for the sauce. The whole thing is seasoned with the dried chili and mixed with firm noodles. The dish is quite simple and ready in just 20-25 minutes, tastes great and is perfect for a tasty dinner.

  • 5-6 bacon slices
  • 450 g Brussels sprouts
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 60 ml white wine, dry
  • 450 g spaghetti
  • salt, to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • chili pepper, dried, to taste
  • 45 g parmesan


  1. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
  2. Clean and wash the Brussels sprouts and cut into 4 parts.
  3. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  4. Heat a frying pan without fat.
  5. Fry the bacon in it for about 5-6 minutes until crispy.
  6. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
  7. Leave half of the frying fat in the pan.
  8. Fry the Brussels sprouts in it for about 5 minutes.
  9. Deglaze with white wine.
  10. Reduce the heat and let the Brussels sprouts simmer for about 5 more minutes, until the wine has completely evaporated.
  11. Remove the cabbage from the pan and place on the plate with the bacon.
  12. In a large saucepan, bring sufficient salted water to the boil.
  13. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook for 7-9 minutes Cook until al dente.
  14. Use a measuring cup to skim off about 200 ml of the cooking water and set aside.
  15. Use a colander to strain and drain the spaghetti.
  16. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in the same pan.
  17. Cook the garlic in it for about 3- Fry for 5 minutes until golden.
  18. With d Deglaze the water on the pasta.
  19. Add the bacon, Brussels sprouts and grated Parmesan to the pan, season with the chilli.
  20. Add the spaghetti, mix everything well and toss.
  21. Place the spaghetti on a large, flat plate and drizzle with the remaining oil.
  22. Pasta with freshly plucked basil and lemon slices and serve immediately.
