Apple pie with walnuts and sprinkles
Ingredients
Dough
- 150 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 300 g flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
Topping
- 1 kg apples
- 100 g walnuts
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- 5 tsp water
- 4 tbsp sugar
Utensils

Instructions
Prepare the topping
- Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and mix them in a saucepan with the roughly chopped walnuts.
- Add the sugar, vanilla sugar and water and allow to boil until the apples are soft and allow to cool.
Prepare the dough
- Sugar, butter , flour, egg, baking powder, vanilla sugar and milk to prepare a shortcrust pastry.
- Line the bottom and sides of a springform pan with 2/3 of the dough.
- Pour the apple-walnut mixture on top and smooth it out.
- The rest of the dough sprinkle on top.
- Bake the apple pie on the middle shelf at 200°C for approx. 25-30 minutes.
