Ingredients

Dough

  • 400 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pack baking powder
  • 120 g butter

Filling

  • 450 g apples
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 40 g almonds, chopped
  • icing sugar, for serving

Utensils

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • bowl
  • pan
  • spoon
  • hand mixer with dough hook
  • springform pan
  • baking paper

Instructions

Prepare the filling

  1. Peel, core and dice the apples.
  2. Add the apples to the pan.
  3. Add the lemon juice and sugar.
  4. Bring to a simmer over low heat.
  5. Add the chopped almonds.
  6. A few minutes leave to simmer with the lid open.
  7. Decant the apples and leave to cool.

Prepare the dough

  1. Sieve the flour into a bowl.
  2. Add the salt, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder, mix well.
  3. Add the eggs and butter.
  4. Everything Process into a crumble dough.
  5. Line a baking tin with baking paper.
  6. Press half of the dough into the tin.
  7. Put the filling on top.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining crumbles on top.
  9. Apple pie at 180°C approx. 35- Bake for 40 minutes.
  10. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
