Apple crumble with pears

Fall is the perfect time of year for an apple crumble with pears. This fruit cake with a crunchy crumble dough can be prepared quickly and tastes heavenly delicious with walnuts.

  • 500 g apples
  • 500 g pears
  • 1 lemon
  • 85 g sugar, for the crumble dough
  • 2 tbsp sugar, for the fruit
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 70-100 g walnuts
  • 175 g flour
  • 85 g butter, cold in pieces


  1. Peel the apples and pears and cut into small pieces.
  2. Wash the lemon in hot water and grate the zest.
  3. Squeeze the juice out of half the lemon.
  4. Put the apples in a saucepan.
  5. Lemon zest, lemon juice, Add 2 tablespoons sugar and rosemary stalks.
  6. Cook over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Add the pears, stir and leave on the stove for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Place in a casserole dish and flatten.
  9. Crush the nuts with a knife or in a food processor.
  10. Add the flour, the cold butter in pieces and the sugar.
  11. Process everything into a crumble.
  12. Place the crumbles over the fruit in the casserole dish.
  13. Den Bake the apple crumble with pears for about 20-25 minutes at 190°C.
