Apple Crumble - Baked apple pie with sprinkles

Crumble dessert can be made with seasonal fruit such as strawberries or rhubarb, apples, quinces and pears. Nuts, oatmeal or muesli can be used as a topping for the actual crumbles.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 175 g flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 175 g butter, or margarine
  • 50 g raisins
  • vanilla sugar, to taste
  • cinnamon, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples, peel and cut into small pieces.
  2. Put the apples in an ovenproof dish together with the raisins.
  3. Cut the butter into very small pieces.
  4. With the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and the Mix in the cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbles over the apples and raisins.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.

Tip

The apple crumble tastes best warm with vanilla pudding or ice cream!
