Ingredients

Dough

  • 125 g butter, cold
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1-2 drops
  • Lemon flavouring
  • 250 g flour

To decorate

  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Sugar sprinkles, to taste
  • glitter dust, gold

Utensils

  • food processor
  • roller
  • cookie cutters
  • kitchen brush

Instructions

Dough

  1. Knead cold butter with sugar, egg, lemon flavoring and flour to form a smooth dough.
  2. Form the dough into a flat flatbread and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the cookie dough thinly.
  4. Use the angel cutter Cut out the cookies.
  5. Bake the angel cookies in the oven at 180 degrees for approx. 12-15 minutes.
  6. Let the cookies cool down.

Decorate

  1. Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice into an icing.
  2. Gover the angel cookies completely or just Spread the icing on the edges.
  3. Top the Christmas cookies with sugar sprinkles and glitter.
  4. Let the icing dry and enjoy the Christmas cookies during Advent.
