Angel Christmas cookies with icing and glitter dust
Ingredients
Dough
- 125 g butter, cold
- 60 g sugar
- 1 medium egg
- 1-2 drops
- Lemon flavouring
- 250 g flour
To decorate
- 75 g powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- Sugar sprinkles, to taste
- glitter dust, gold
Utensils
- food processor
- roller
- cookie cutters
- kitchen brush
Instructions
Dough
- Knead cold butter with sugar, egg, lemon flavoring and flour to form a smooth dough.
- Form the dough into a flat flatbread and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out the cookie dough thinly.
- Use the angel cutter Cut out the cookies.
- Bake the angel cookies in the oven at 180 degrees for approx. 12-15 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool down.
Decorate
- Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice into an icing.
- Gover the angel cookies completely or just Spread the icing on the edges.
- Top the Christmas cookies with sugar sprinkles and glitter.
- Let the icing dry and enjoy the Christmas cookies during Advent.
