American Eggnog – Eggnog with milk, whiskey and nutmeg
Ingredients
- 2 l milk
- 200 g sugar
- 10 eggs
- 375 ml whiskey, rum or cognac
- Graded nutmeg

Instructions
- Separate the eggs.
- Beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually stir the egg whites into the milk while heating.
- Add the whiskey.
- Finally stir in the yolk cream, do not let it boil any longer !
- Sprinkle the eggnog with nutmeg and serve.
